I just started reading the manga and the story seems really good. :-)
No, the images are from the short stories in Ohikkoshi. Both mangas are by the same artist.

I didn't know there was a FFXII manga either. I wonder if it's able to be imported yet...and if it's any good. Thanks for sharing.
It's a pretty good manga with interesting characters. The down side is that it feels a little rushed now and then. The series actually just came to an end at chapter 76. It's worth the read though.
